Thrift Shop Finds

Thrift means being very careful about how much money you spend. The word thrift originally referred to fortune and has come to mean the act of being economical; a thrifty person, or someone who practices thrift, is likely to be fortunate in the sense that he has savings. At a thrift store, you will find inexpensive clothing. (https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/thrift)
A thrift shop is a store that sells used goods and especially used clothes and that is often run by a charity (Merriam-Webster)

Last June 10, 2016, I go to a thrift shop to buy some awesome thrift stuff, I love thrift shopping! I used to buy thrift stuff when I was in fourth-year high school because of my mom I discovered that she's buying thrift stuff when one time she went home and she has this paper bag full of clothes from a thrift shop. 10 pcs of clothes for 100 pesos which mean 10 pesos each! Wow right?! it's super cheap (I'm so happy coz I'm so kuripot person lol haha). So I checked what's with the thrift shop I'm amazed with the clothes and price, the price ranges from 60-1000pesos when it's new arrival including clothes, bags, and shoes, I used to monitor the thrift shop haha yes but not everyday maybe twice a week haha coz they having a sale! Yes, you read it right thrift shop is having a sale too! Imagine if the new arrivals range to 60-1000 what more when sale? It ranges from 10-600 pesos! Or 3for100 or 4for100 yay!

Not all thrift shop selling used clothes and super ugly overused clothes they selling unused too you can see when there's a tag! And when overused you can see the clothes and their fabric. Actually, I'm a little bit lucky at finding the not overused and brand new clothes, haha, or I'm so wais in finding the good one, but hey I have tips for that first-timer at the thrift shops! when you already pick up the one you like First, you should see the fabric if it looks like bacon it's already overused don't buy it you consider the fabric it should look nice and the color! Color is important coz there instances that the having a stain and you should look all over it, look at the bottom, at the neck part, and with the armpit area! Check if it's having a stain cause of the deodorant of the past user. Second, think of the clothes are worth the price. If you think the clothes were overpriced then haggle to the salesman/lady or to the counter (I always haggle ✌haha) they can give a The 5-10pesos discount they are so kuripot din Minsan Hahaha. And hey If you find a good one and have damage and you think you can fix it by sewing it buys it and you have the right to haggle! You should say "may damage nanaman po pwedeng *name your price *" I buy a damaged one a cute fuzzy coat but it has a hole in left shoulders 80 pesos the price but I get it 65 pesos only haha. Third if you can't haggle or too shy to haggle then wait for sale make sure you can go on the first day or within three days coz you can't find the good one when the sale is on around the fifth day the pretty ones are gone already. Fourth if you want to buy shoes on thrift shop make sure it does not look overused (you can see naman PO) and if it's easy to bend, it is already overused and you should check the shoes, I buy shoes thrice at a thrift shop but they are not durable, well, I'm not yet good at choosing durable shoes at a thrift shop hehe. Fifth be friendly to the salesman/lady and to the cashier because if they recognized you as their regular customer they can give you a big discount (yes I'm FC for the discount) Hahaha and some of them not giving a big discount I don't know why. Honestly, I don't know I'm so kuripot person haha sorry ✌ by the way cuties let me show you what I bought.
